Counseling can be an intimidating process. You are speaking with someone you have never met about intimate details of your life.
It is not uncommon to be hesitant and guarded initially. I ask that you open yourself up the process of healing and give it a try.
What to expect as a client?
Our first session will be an intake session where I gather background information to get an overall “picture” of your concerns.
We will discuss confidentiality, your rights as a client, and any questions you may have. We will also discuss goals that you would like to accomplish during our time together.
Because counseling is a process, it is difficult to say how many sessions you may need. Each person is unique – for some a couple of sessions is sufficient and others need more time. We will work together to see what works best for you.
Our sessions are weekly and are 50-minutes long.
