Clinical Supervision

Have you completed your Masters degree in Counseling and are working on your LLPC hours? Are you looking for a clinical supervisor that can enhance your professional skills, while providing a challenging yet supportive environment? I can help you in achieving those goals.

My philosophy of Supervision

I approach supervision from a collaborative framework focusing on: your professional behaviors, counseling skills, personal awareness and beliefs, client/case conceptualization, and the environment (interaction between counselor and client, and counselor and supervisor).

I can provide supervision for mental health counseling and specialize in grief counseling supervision. I do not provide supervision for school counseling or substance abuse counseling, and have some experience working with small children, teenagers, and families.

Since supervision is a key aspect of your development as a professional counselor, I require a one-hour interview to assess for goodness-of-fit. During that time I will learn about you (e.g., clinical background, needs of supervision, etc) and you will have an opportunity to learn about my professional background.

Supervision Fees:

Individual Supervision:

$50 for one-on-one supervision (60 minutes).

Group Supervision:

$60/person for 2 hour session (group size 2-4 individuals, you are responsible for creating your own group).

LLPC Requirements:

Counseling experience under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor is required to qualify for a full professional counselor license. Individuals who are Limited License Professional Counselors must accrue 3,000 hours of post-degree counseling experience in no less than a two-year period. The LLPC supervisee must complete a minimum of 100 hours of face-to-face supervision in the immediate physical presence of the supervisor and must remain in supervision until obtaining full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
